The Texas History Store features titles from State House Press, the non-profit publishing component of the Texas Frontier Heritage & Cultural Center, a Texas based 501 (c)(3) public charity and program of the Grady McWhiney Research Foundation.  It is the online retail presence of the Buffalo Gap Historic Village.  Look for a growing list of merchandise from our store for the history lover in your life.  If we don’t have it–and it is history related–chances are we can find it!

We believe that history should be accessible to the public.  That said, we publish books that maintain high scholarly standards while also being readable!

The Texas Frontier Heritage & Cultural Center is an umbrella organization that includes State House Press, The Buffalo Gap Historic Village, The Chautauqua Learning Series, The Reddell House, The Parsonage Guest House, and serves as host to the world famous Texas Semester, a partnership with McMurry University.  www.tfhcc.com
